 A warm welcome to the Chequers Inn, Watery Lane, Heaverham, TN15 6NP
We pride ourselves on being a traditional country pub, retaining the olde worlde atmosphere of our 14th century Inn.
Home cooked food is served daily, you must try our home made soups, desserts, steak & ale pie & beer battered cod with handcut chips.
 
Now booking for our Christmas Fare menu throughout December, why not come and have your company Christmas meal in our cosy, Tudor barn, a private room for you to enjoy ! 
Current Landlord Richard Fletton and his wife Sally came to the Chequers last November, Richard has lovingly restored the barn to its former glory and tended the vast gardens to bring out their true beauty.
Recently, Richard has been included in CAMRA (campaign for real ale) due to his excellent cellar keeping, so why not come along and sample some of our real ales, you wont be disapointed !

Sally's handcooked chips are a legend in their own lunchtime - quite literally !
